I love editing. I’ve been an editor for 7 years and find storytelling a lot of fun.
My past experience has put me in a variety of fun, strange and challenging situations. I cut highlight packages for the London 2012 Olympics, Documentaries for National Geographic and Discovery, live music events such as BarclayCard Wireless Festival and Mercury Music Awards. Competitions with high profiles such as Lily Cole, movie Premiers, funky Edits for Adidas, programme and channel promos, internal marketing for Nokia / EDF / Google / Various Investors (Full edits unavailable due to rights.. sorry). Creative, alternative editing for films screened at the Barbican.. Just Trial and Error winning an award for “outstanding statuesque and visual depiction of the sophisticated topic” at the International Scientific Film Festival. Mouthful of big words – the team is very proud!
I have just recently been at the start-up channel Manoto TV… A young fresh entertainment channel aimed at the Persian audience. This has been a very rewarding experience as they are now ranked as influential as BBC Persia – all within 2 years.
I love working with new people. I would say my greatest strength is that I am resourceful, it’s fun for me to take any footage (good or bad) and make the best out of it.
